ClearZone® CMS Compatible: Ex-Guard XG and EX Generation 3 guards are the only guards that have been tested and verified by the collision mitigation system (CMS) radar manufacturer to fall within their established “Verification Zone” while at the same time avoiding the radar’s “Keep-Out Zones”. This aids in allowing the CMS to function properly and without inhibition. Ex-Guard has been verified to meet the requirements of CMS radar systems for Freightliner®, Kenworth®, Peterbilt®, International®, Volvo®, Mack® and Western Star® as of August 1, 2024.
LEVRLock™ Latches: Decades of engineering experience have been poured into this third-generation latch system. The new latch design features an ergonomic handle and rattle-resisting design – making it by far the most durable latch Ex-Guard has ever made.
Xero-G™ Lift Assist: All XG Generation 3 series guards include Ex-Guard’s stunning Xero-G™ Lift Assist that reduces the effort to raise and lower the guard for inspections by more than 95%! This makes under-hood inspections an absolute breeze.
Extra Cross Bar and Height: We listened to Ex-Guard users who demand the best in defending their truck and their livelihood. Every XG model now includes an additional cross bar of our 8-gauge tubing along with added height for our maximum level of protection.
License Plate Included: Our most popular, fully adjustable stainless steel license plate bracket, the XG-LP10, is now included with every XG series guard.
More Fitments with Fewer SKUs: Ex-Guard has listened closely to fleets and dealers that want to manage a smaller number of guards and mounting brackets. With Generation 3, Ex-Guard models now fit dozens of the most popular models without the need for a special guard design, including almost every set back axle truck dating back to 2000.
