PRODUCT QUALITY GUIDE
Ex-Guard® products are handcrafted from heavy-gauge steel and finished with our proprietary EVRCoat™ Ultra coating. Because of this manufacturing process, you may notice small variations in appearance.
These characteristics are normal and do not affect the strength, durability or performance of your guard.
THREE QUALITY MARKERS
Each marker highlights a deliberate manufacturing feature, an acceptable cosmetic characteristic or a sign of genuine Ex-Guard quality.
BUILT-IN DETAILS
Four drain holes may be visible on the front face. They are a normal part of the manufacturing process and may differ in size.
The hanging point at the rear is part of the coating process and is mitigated with a stainless-steel insert.
NORMAL FINISH VARIATION
Slight grind marks, transition lines, drips and other cosmetic variations are normal results of the fabrication and finishing process. These characteristics are not considered defects.
PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION
Every genuine Ex-Guard® features our logo and a unique serial number etched into the guard. This is your assurance of Ex-Guard quality, engineering and authenticity.
Older Ex-Guards®: The logo and serial number appear on a metal plate located on the back side of the guard.
OUR PROMISE
Every Ex-Guard® is individually manufactured and inspected before shipment. Cosmetic characteristics associated with the manufacturing process are normal and do not reduce the durability, corrosion resistance or protective performance of the product.
