PRODUCT POLICIES
What is Covered – Ex-Guard products are warranted for a 1-year period from the date of purchase. Ex-Guard will provide replacement parts for manufacturer defects in materials used to produce the Ex-Guard product, including workmanship and design.
What is Not Covered – Any loss due to improper installation, road hazards, defects resulting from product modification, vandalism, or any part of the guard after a collision or accident. Normal, everyday ‘wear and tear’ of the Ex-Guard product is not included in this warranty agreement.
Warranty Limitations and Exclusions – This limited warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Any other warranties relating to your Ex-Guard product, including, but not limited to, warranty of merchantability, are limited to the duration of the warranty. Ex-Guard Industries will not be liable for consequential, incidental, and/or any special damages to persons or property that may occur in connection to your Ex-Guard product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
To Request Warranty Service – Contact the Ex-Guard office at the address below. Proof of purchase is required and the one (1) year warranty begins from the date of purchase.

Disclaimer – The purchaser of an Ex-Guard product will assume all risks and liability including the installation of the product. The product should not be relied upon as total protection in the event of a collision or rollover situation. Original equipment components such as sensors, airbags, etc… should not be modified in any way. Please consult your vehicle manufacturer with any questions. Ex-Guard Industries assumes no risk nor liability for the loss of human life, injury, incidental or consequential damages in the actual event of a collision
What if my product is past the 12 month period – On a case by case basis requests for returns over 12 months can be elevated for review.
Any items that were purchased outside that 12-month window or product returns with obsolete part numbers CANNOT be returned for credit. For extenuating circumstances for non-obsolete items a 15% restocking fee and customer pays return freight. Returns cannot exceed $5,000 USD in a 365-day period.
What if products are damaged in freight:
Refuse It – Please do NOT accept damaged freight. We ask that our customers REFUSE the shipment, as this is the fastest way to get a claim through.
After You Refuse It – After the shipment is refused, customers should immediately contact with their sales rep or customer service. From there, Ex-Guard will arrange a NEW shipment.
What if I accepted the damaged products in freight – If the product is damaged and accepted, the customer has 24 hours to report it to Ex-Guard. Damaged goods need to be notated on the delivery receipt.
60 Day Freight Claim or Return Timeframe – After a freight claim or return is scheduled the customer has 60 Days to get the product returned. If the product does not show up within 60 days of processing the return, the case will be closed and the return will be canceled.
