What is the VISRbar™?
In creating the new Ex-Guard MAX™ grille guard, Ex-Guard engineers spent months perfecting designs to meet our new, rigorous goals of Steer Tire Defender 3.0 and an international benchmark for Front Underrun Mitigation.
By combining customer requests for additional fog light protection with the tensile strength of our 8-gauge tubing, the VISRbar was born. Wrought from the same high-tensile steel and EVRCoat™ PVC coating, this bar delivers Vehicle Illumination Safety Reinforcement for additional strength and protection around key components like the collision mitigation system (CMS) and fog lamps.
Why is the VISRbar™ Critical?
Protecting the bumper, CMS, and fog lamps is one of the most important duties of Ex-Guard. With everyday hazards of poles, animal strikes, and other vehicles, even a minor ding can take a vehicle out of service.
