For a Freightliner M2 106, which bracket kit do I need?

The bolt pattern that connects your tow hooks to the truck frame is what determines the correct bracket kit.

A 3-bolt and 4-bolt pattern options are possible on the Freightliner M2 106 frame so always check before ordering your bracket kit.

Below are graphics showing both bolt patterns (as viewed from underneath) and which bracket kit is correct for the specific application.

3-BOLT PATTERN which uses XG-19FM2106 bracket kit – most common

4-BOLT PATTERN which uses XG-06FM2106 bracket kit – often seen on pre-2006 or RV models i.e. S2RV

This is a great investment!!!

“If I didn’t have my Ex-Guard I would’ve lost my entire hood to a driver sideswiping my truck with his trailer. This is a great investment!!!” – Brinson Prioleau You can learn more about an Ex-Guard from how it takes a hit. Brinson’s XG-125 saved him over $2,340+ with an impact that didn’t even make it past our coating. #KeeponTruckin Brinson!

Without A Doubt…One Of The Best Investments We Have Made…

“Since purchasing the Ex-Guard XG-150 for our entire OTR fleet over a year ago, we have experienced around 20 deer collisions, a couple of moose collisions and one elk collision. These collisions have only ever resulted in headlight damage – a far cry from the damaged grills, headlights and radiators that we once experienced. We have also had numerous bump-ins at travel stops where tractor/trailers and automobiles have backed into our equipment, and none of these have resulted in any damage to our equipment. Without a doubt, these bumper guards have been one of the best investments we have made in recent years. If any decision maker is concerned about the ROI on this product, rest assured, the return can be realized within the first 12-18 months factoring in repair costs, lost revenue due to downtime and other indirect costs.”

Save the Milk

“Recently had one of your guards (XG-150) installed on my milk truck. The boss had a smaller one on another truck in the fleet but I went a little bigger. Can’t wait to try it out lol! So far I’m very impressed with the guard. The function, craftsmanship, and made in the good old USA!”
