As of August 1, 2024, Ex-Guard is the only verified manufacturer that collaborates directly with component manufacturers to ensure compliance with their specific brand requirements for the “Keep-Out-Zone.” This includes compliance with the varying CMS radar systems for Freightliner®, Kenworth®, Peterbilt®, International®, Volvo®, Mack®, and Western Star®.

Shield your trucks from damage and downtime with Ex-Guard. Our guards are constructed of extremely strong high-tensile steel. Their continuous design is bent and shaped into position providing fewer points of welding. Then they are finished with a 1/8″ thick corrosion and chip-resistant EVRCoat Ultra Coating, making them virtually maintenance-free. Ex-Guard will protect your trucks for years to come!
We listened to Ex-Guard users who demand the best in defending their truck and their livelihood. Every XG model now includes an additional cross bar of our 8-gauge tubing along with added height for our maximum level of protection. In addition, XG models now have a 30% smaller area of exposure around the collision mitigation system versus our previous Collision Mitigation models. This better protects vital and expensive CMS components closer to the ground.
Our most popular, fully adjustable stainless steel license plate bracket, the LP10, is now included with every XG series guard.
Ex-Guard has listened closely to fleets and dealers that want to manage a smaller number of guards and mounting brackets. With Generation 3, Ex-Guard models now fit dozens of the most popular models without the need for a special guard design, including almost every set back axle truck dating back to 2000. This includes today’s most popular Class 8 models like the Freightliner® Cascadia®, Peterbilt® 579, Volvo® VNL/VNR, International® LT and hundreds of other models. Of course, Ex-Guard Generation 3 designs were also built for custom applications like the Kenworth® T680 with offset CMS, Mack® Anthem with high-center CMS and finally wide/heavy duty trucks like the Western Star 47X and 49X.
