Ex-Guards® are designed to absorb the impact of collisions and distribute the force evenly, reducing the risk of damage to your vehicle. Constructed of 8-gauge or 12-gauge
high-tensile steel, Ex-Guards® are the industry standard with its superior strength-to-weight ratio. This steel is coated with an extremely durable PVC coating that prevents rusting due to road wear or inclement weather. We don’t cut our tubes into multiple sections to assemble our guards – our steel tubing spans the full truck width for maximum strength and integrity. Bracket kits are made of 1/2” plate steel and mounted to the vehicle frame. This is Ex-Guard’s heavy-duty front-end protection, be strong.

Ex-Guard's History

When our Head of Engineering designed and manufactured his first front-end guard in 2005, it was an aluminum “moose bumper,” as most know them. The Excel moose bumper was strong but not aerodynamic, and heavy. While this product was very functional, it was painfully clear to us that the industry needed a solution that had the same strength but much less bulk and greater ease-of-use. So, our team created the original XG-125 bumper and radiator protection guard for set-back axle trucks in
2009.

Our team works with OEMs, dealers and fleet partners to provide the best vehicle protection solution on the market. Ex-Guard’s continues to help reduce downtime, maintenance costs, and lost revenue for our customers. Our solutions help keep your drivers on the road and keep you trucking!
